Divorce sucks, but you're right. It is good to have closure. My divorce just went through 2 days ago. I'm still in the 'eating ice cream for comfort' stage. You seem to have it all together. How do you do it?
i don't actually have it all together. i've gone through several months of my life falling apart and months before that where things were generally not good--and i'm far from over this but i'm basically relieved. a lot of those feelings are not reflected on here because i've avoided saying anything negative at those times when i felt especially bad.
i'm losing (giving up?) my house and my dogs, among other things, but i am getting some furniture.

So its final eh? Well, I'm glad you two came to a decision and there's closure now.

I have no idea what to say here, as I have neither experienced divorce nor am I overflowing with fitting advice.
That sucks, dude.
But totally get some alimony in the form of jewels or furniture, I think.
